Reach, Rescue, and Restore. A lady named Sandra felt like it was one thing after another, she couldn’t catch a break.
She got a divorce, she had to raise four children on her own. Then her mother got sick, Sandra was working a full time job and taking care of her mother that had Alzheimer’s. Her mother then passed away a few short years later. She began to take care of her grand daughter. Things were going down hill, she was getting further and further into debt. Then she thought she was seeing the light at the end of the tunnel and then she got horrible news. Her son was in a hit and run. He lost is arm, he was in terrible shape, but she kept her faith! She was fixing to loose her beautiful home that she has had since 2010.
One day she ran into the resource director at the OKC Dream Center. She began to explain her story and tell her everything that has been going on, and telling her how she was going to loose her house. Nichole then mentioned to her we have a program its called “Just A Little Bit Of Help” The program is for people like Sandra. Its for people that need that little bit of help. We used the last of the grant we had to help Sandra from loosing her beautiful home. We took the check to her home, she was amazed at how God had her back this entire time. Things got rough and tough things happened but, she kept her faith. Thank you Bank of Oklahoma for the generous grant and partner ship you’ve provided for us, so we can make dreams come true!

In 2002, Pastor Rob and Deb Burke began ministering at Inner City Church with the vision of one day having an organization like the Los Angeles Dream Center. Soon they were able to establish a food pantry, clothing closet, outreach programs for kids, and more. In 2012, Chase Parsons met up with Pastor Deborah Burke in pursuit of a like-minded vision of establishing an OKC Dream Center. The OKC Dream Center began Saturday adopt-a-blocks and mentorship classes. As the relationship grew stronger, Pastor Deborah Burke and Chase Parsons agreed to combine their ministry efforts and in 2014, OKC Dream Center took over all outreach programs with Inner City Church. dcokc.org
